Boone is a dog that didn't come with a fancy pedigree with champion lineage, but he has showed us that he means business. His first hunting season Boone showed us that he had great potential and quick learning ability when it came to being a guide dog. We knew since he was a puppy that he was a quick learner, and he has kept that up through his professional career. He has now had several hunting seasons under his belt and is a retrieving machine with the occasional pointing capability that everyone loves to see. While he is guiding he is locked in always wanting more, never giving up, but when he is home he knows how to lay back and relax with the everyone and play nice with the kids. Boone is a well-mannered dog that does very well with others and is always ready to please. 

Boone is a leaner built dog that is pure muscle making him very athletic. We would consider him a high energy dog that has a ton of drive. When in the field he is a team player letting younger dogs take easier retrieves while he makes sure he is on top of the long, more difficult retrieves. Boone is a young dog that has the upland figured out, doing anything to get the birds.
